An unexpected last minute hiccup in plans resulted in the BEST service received on any dive trip I've ever taken! A very small, intimate resort that had the best food and service in a Swiss Family Robinson tropical setting! The rooms were large and well kept, each guest having a private bungalow! The dive operation, run by Vasco, was absolutely top notch serving all our needs from Advanced Open Water Divers to Trimix classes. Captain Jorge and his crew not only were awesome on the water but took our luggage from our room door via boat to the airport where they helped load it on our puddle jumper!!! talk about above and beyond. Rumors are already spreading about a return trip where Blue Crew takes over the whole resort, not just the half or two-thirds we had this time. DO NOT MISS THIS!!

We had a fantastic time on our first Liveaboard trip! Chris, Everette, and the rest of the team at Blue Crew always choose amazing trips. We felt safe, relaxed, and had a great experience. We will absolutley travel with Blue Crew again!

We recently completed our open water cert and completed our advanced during the trip. It was our first live-aboard and with our limited experience the crew made the trip awesome. They helped us every step of the way, making special accommodations for us less experienced divers to provide the best experience possible, feeling more confident with each and every dive. The food was outstanding and one of the highlights of the day! Although the ship was older, we didn’t mind one bit, as it added to our adventure!

The diving on this liveaboard trip was absolutely amazing and truly the highlight of the experience. Every dive was well planned, beautiful, and memorable. The crew went above and beyond to make sure guests felt supported, safe, and taken care of throughout the trip, and their dedication really showed. The food deserves special recognition—it was incredible, plentiful, and consistently exceeded expectations. A standout was Megan, who took extra time and care to guide less experienced participants on dives that were appropriate and comfortable for their experience level. Her patience, professionalism, and attentiveness made a huge difference and helped build confidence underwater. That said, the boat itself was clearly showing its age. The cabins and hallways had a persistent, unpleasant odor, and the overall condition of the vessel felt tired and in need of significant renovation. While it didn’t detract from the quality of the diving or the crew’s efforts, it did impact overall comfort onboard and experience. In summary, this trip delivered exceptional diving, an outstanding crew, and fantastic food—but the aging condition of the boat holds it back from being a truly top-tier liveaboard experience.

This liveaboard trip was truly a tale of two very different experiences. First, the staff were absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, the crew went above and beyond to make the trip special. They were warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about our experience. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and their positive energy really carried the trip. The food was also exceptional—far better than expected on a liveaboard. Every meal was delicious, plentiful, and thoughtfully prepared, and it quickly became one of the highlights of each day. That said, the condition of the boat itself was extremely disappointing and hard to overlook. The vessel felt very run-down and had a persistent odor reminiscent of a gym locker room throughout most common areas. Unfortunately, our cabin compounded the issue: it was leaking water in multiple locations, which made it uncomfortable and concerning during the trip. This significantly detracted from what could have otherwise been an incredible experience. In short, the crew and food were truly top-tier and deserve serious praise—but the boat’s condition does not match the quality of the service. With major upgrades, maintenance, and attention to cleanliness, this could be a standout liveaboard. Until then, travelers should be aware that while the people onboard are amazing, the accommodations may fall well below expectations.
