Join Chris & Blue Crew Divers for an unforgettable week in the heart of the Mediterranean as we explore the islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino.

Malta is unlike our traditional tropical dive destinations. Instead of coral-covered Caribbean reefs, we'll be diving through incredibly clear blue Mediterranean water surrounded by dramatic limestone walls, arches, caverns, swim-throughs and historic shipwrecks. Malta is recognized as one of Europe's premier diving destinations, with exceptional visibility and an incredible variety of dive sites packed into a relatively small area.

And when we're not underwater, we're in Malta—an island nation filled with ancient cities, beaches, restaurants, castles, fortifications and thousands of years of history. This is a Mediterranean vacation.

Where we'll stay— RAMLA BAY RESORT

We'll spend seven nights at the beautiful Ramla Bay Resort, a four-star waterfront resort on the northern tip of Malta overlooking the islands of Gozo and Comino. Our group will stay in Sea View Rooms, giving you the Mediterranean right outside your door. The resort features multiple outdoor seawater pools, indoor pools, a sandy beach and direct sea access, restaurants and bars, spa and wellness facilities, fitness center and family-friendly areas—including dedicated children's facilities. Daily breakfast is included, leaving the rest of the day flexible for diving, exploring Malta or heading out for dinner and experiencing the local culture.

THE DIVING

Our package includes four days of two-tank boat diving —, plus lots of shore diving. We wake up, eat breakfast, gear up and go diving.

Malta, Gozo and Comino offer an incredible collection of underwater environments, including: Historic shipwrecks • dramatic walls • underwater arches • caverns • swim-throughs • rocky Mediterranean reefs • clear blue water

Potential sites around the Maltese Islands include famous wrecks and formations near Cirkewwa as well as boat diving around Malta, Gozo and Comino. Actual dive sites will be selected based on weather, sea conditions and diver experience.

August brings some of Malta's warmest water of the year, making this a fantastic destination for comfortable warm-water diving.

THERE'S A LOT MORE TO MALTA THAN DIVING

One of the reasons we chose Malta is that this trip works just as well for the family member who doesn't dive. Spend your free time wandering the narrow streets of Valletta, Malta's UNESCO-listed capital. Explore the medieval walled city of Mdina, visit centuries-old fortifications built by the Knights of St. John, or experience prehistoric temples that actually predate Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids. Take the ferry to Gozo and explore its villages, coastline and ancient Citadel. Cruise to Comino and the Blue Lagoon for some of the bluest water in the Mediterranean, or forget the itinerary completely- Grab a kayak, find a beach, sit beside the Mediterranean, visit a local restaurant, wander through a Maltese village, enjoy a village festa, take the kids exploring, or spend the afternoon beside the pool with absolutely nowhere you need to be. That's part of this trip too.
