Seven Nights of Diving, Adventure & Island Exploration

Escape to the warm waters of The Bahamas and join us for an unforgettable week aboard All Star Liveaboards’ Aqua Cat, exploring the crystal-clear waters, spectacular reefs, remote islands, and unforgettable marine life of the Exuma Cays.

Our adventure begins in Nassau, Bahamas, where we’ll board the Aqua Cat at Hurricane Hole Marina on Paradise Island. Guests should plan to arrive in Nassau (NAS) on Saturday, the 20th, in time for boarding at approximately 5:30 PM. Once aboard, we’ll settle into our cabins, enjoy dinner, meet the crew, and take part in a welcome orientation and safety briefing.

Early Sunday morning, we’ll leave Nassau behind and head toward the remote waters of the Exuma Cays, beginning our week of world-class diving and island adventures.

Life Aboard the Aqua Cat

The Aqua Cat is a 102-foot luxury dive liveaboard specifically designed for scuba divers and adventure travelers. With comfortable accommodations, private bathrooms, a spacious dive deck, dining and lounge areas, an upper sundeck and bar, and an experienced crew, the Aqua Cat becomes our home for the entire week.

The boat accommodates up to 30 guests and features a large dive deck with individually assigned dive stations and equipment storage, making the daily diving experience comfortable and convenient. All diving is done directly from the Aqua Cat.

A typical day offers the opportunity for multiple dives, including reef, wall, drift, wreck, blue-hole, shark, and night dives. The exact itinerary is flexible and determined by the captain and crew based on weather, sea conditions, and the best diving available during our trip.

Between dives, there is plenty of time to relax on deck, enjoy a meal, soak up the sun, snorkel, kayak, paddleboard, or simply take in the incredible scenery surrounding us.

Diving the Bahamas

The Bahamas offers some of the most exciting and diverse diving in the Caribbean and Atlantic. The Exuma Cays are home to pristine reefs, dramatic walls, blue holes, wrecks, colorful coral gardens, and exhilarating drift dives.

Divers can expect encounters with an incredible variety of marine life, including schools of tropical fish, colorful corals and sponges, lobsters, turtles, rays, and sharks. Caribbean reef sharks and nurse sharks are frequently encountered, and a dedicated shark dive is one of the highlights of the Aqua Cat experience.

Many of these dive sites are far from the major tourist areas and are accessible only by liveaboard. That means we can wake up each morning already positioned at some of the Bahamas' most spectacular and remote underwater locations.

The Exuma Cays

The Exuma Cays are a breathtaking chain of islands and cays surrounded by some of the clearest water on Earth. Above the surface, you'll find white-sand beaches, turquoise lagoons, mangrove forests, secluded coves, and uninhabited islands.

During the week, we'll have opportunities to experience the Bahamas beyond scuba diving. Shore excursions and eco-adventures may include kayaking through mangroves, hiking island trails, paddleboarding, snorkeling, visiting remote beaches, exploring the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, and encountering some of the region's unique wildlife.

Depending on the itinerary and conditions, we may also have the opportunity to visit the famous swimming pigs and feed the Bahamian rock iguanas at Allen's Cay.

One of the advantages of traveling aboard the Aqua Cat is the ability to reach these remote locations. The boat carries Sea Dog, a 28-foot launch used for shore excursions, snorkeling, and exploring areas that would otherwise be difficult to access.

Why March?

Late March is an excellent time to visit the Bahamas. The winter crowds are beginning to thin, the days are getting longer, and the islands are surrounded by beautiful, clear water.

Water temperatures in March typically average around 73–77°F (23°C), making it a great time for diving. A 3mm or 5mm wetsuit is generally recommended depending on your personal comfort level.

Most importantly, March gives us the perfect opportunity to leave winter behind and spend a week surrounded by sunshine, turquoise water, and incredible marine life.

More Than Just Diving

This trip is about much more than logging dives.

It's about waking up each morning in a new location, stepping off the dive deck into crystal-clear water, exploring remote islands, sharing meals and stories with friends, and watching the sunset from the deck of our floating home.

There is no daily commute to the dive shop and no need to pack and unpack every night. We simply wake up, dive, eat, relax, explore, and do it all again the next day.

For non-divers and anyone taking a break between dives, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the trip above the water as well.

On Friday, after our final dives, the Aqua Cat returns to Nassau in the afternoon. Friday evening is yours to enjoy dinner and explore Nassau and Paradise Island before we disembark Saturday morning.
