Join Mr. Demnicki for his annual Archmere trip at one of our favorite destinations. Roatan, located in the Bay Islands of Honduras is a fantastic place for diving and exploring the island.  It has the second largest barrier reef in the world after Australia and it is in better condition. Shallow and deep-water divers do not have to make a great effort to find beautiful coral gardens, brightly colored sponges, caves, and wrecks.  

Roatan is known as one of the top locations in the Caribbean for diving. We will be staying at the Fantasy Island Resort, which is all-inclusive.  It is located in French Harbour, which gives easy access to other attractions and sites of the island. What makes this unique is that it is nestled on a 21-acre private island that sets it apart as a destination unlike any other. While at the resort, enjoy exquisite and varied buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, either in the comfort of the main restaurant or near the beach enjoying the breeze and Caribbean landscape. Beverages are available all day in the lobby bar or directly in the pool at the swim up bar. This oceanfront resort boasts three private sandy beaches, as well as an abundance of fantastic local wildlife (including iguanas, ducks, peacocks, and even Capuchin monkeys). Each of the spacious rooms is just 50 feet from the beach allowing uninterrupted views of the calm aquamarine ocean.
